Michelle and Ben Tan, our Angels in Singapore

On Thursday evening, Michelle Tan, our real estate agent, along with her husband, Ben, picked us up from our hotel.  They took us to a local mall, and assisted us in purchasing a TV, a Blu-ray player, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer, telephones, and pots and pans.  Because our apartment doesn't have an oven, they also gave us advice on the best convection oven/grill.  As we had spent enough money, and taken up ALL of the room in their car, we decided to postpone that purchase.  The cable/internet/phone installer was scheduled for Friday morning, though, so we HAD to make the other purchases.
