Eating at the Hawker Stalls

After leaving Rich's office, we headed to the Hawker Stalls on Maxwell Street.  Being a Reppen, when Rich gets hungry, grouchy follows almost immediately.  We tried to go to the hawker stall that is regaled in the guide books, but there was a queue of about a dozen people.  Hungry Rich didn't have time for that!  We headed to another stall, with 3 policemen in line.  In Chicago, the policemen know the best places to eat, and we hoped that it held true at Singapore Hawker Stalls, too.  Rich ordered barbecued chicken and rice, I ordered lemon chicken rice.  Good tips from the policemen!!
