Eating at "Flutes at the Fort"

For dinner Saturday, Rich made reservations at "Flutes at the Fort".  It was a restaurant that I had discovered when I was exploring Fort Canning Park.  It is on a hillside, surrounded by trees and greenery.  I also loved the name, with flutes referring to flutes of champagne, not the instrument.  It is a black and white bungalow built in 1908, as the home for the Fire Chief.  Ironically, it has caught fire twice!

We ate our dinner outside on the veranda.  It was a rather muggy evening, so we convinced the staff to bring a fan closer to our table, as we were the only customers at that time.  The atmosphere was very romantic, and the service was exceptional.  The food was good, but very pricey.  Erin loved her champagne, and the fact that the waiter kept coming to pour it for her.  Rich and I agreed that we would return there for a special occasion.
Is that a picture of "Queen Deb"?
