Eating at Amoy Food Court, and Visiting Rich's Office

Our plan for Monday was to visit Rich for lunch, see his office, and try to ride the Singapore Flyer.  Rich likes to go to lunch later, as there is a huge waiting line at noon.  We hopped on a bus to get us Downtown.  Erin had my phone to text Rich.  She didn't hear me tell her to ask him where we got off the bus.  I thought Rich told me that it was 4 stops on the bus, so that's where we got off.  Erin thought I knew where we were going, but I had only been to Rich's office once, back when we were staying at the hotel.  We wandered around like lost Israelites for a few minutes, but eventually found Rich.

Rich took us to Amoy Food Court, which is a major Hawker Stall Court, quite near his office.  We had "Beef Qway Teow Soup", which we got from one of Chung Kiat's favorite food stalls.  It was very tasty!  Rich got 2 sugar cane drinks, and Erin got some fruit juices.  It was all very good!

We went up to Rich's office.  Rich's boss, Kathi, came to say hi to Erin in Rich's office.  He is such a nice gentleman.  Then Rich took us to the conference room, where we could get some good pictures of Downtown Singapore.  The view from Rich's office is nice, but the view from the conference room is bigger!

As we looked out the windows, it looked like Singapore's daily thunderstorms were coming in, so we decided to skip the Singapore Flyer that day.  Rich gave us some bottles of water, and shooed us on home!
