Power Outage!

As we got ready to go to bed on Thursday, our air conditioning stopped working.  Rich went to investigate, and found that none of the a/c units in our apartment worked.  Each room has a unit, and a remote control, and none of the 5 worked.  He went to the circuit breaker box, and couldn't reset the a/c breakers, so he called the management emergency desk.  A person came to help about 1/2 hour later.  It turned out that the jacuzzi caused the circuit breakers to trip.  The contractor had told me that the water recirculation happens between 10 and 11 AM, but it must be between 10 and 11 PM, because we hadn't used it for almost 2 weeks.  The responder showed Rich how to reset the a/c breakers, but the jacuzzi breaker couldn't be reset.  The contractor will come to investigate on Saturday.  Thank goodness they got the a/c working in the meantime, though.  Singapore is too hot and muggy to be without air conditioning - even at night!
